Yoga blocks are especially helpful when you’re just starting out in your yoga practice, they allow the correct form to be attained with ease. Triangle poses, warrior poses, halfmoon pose, and most revolved poses are just some of the poses that can be enhanced by the use of a yoga block. Having two blocks is also beneficial when tackling the splits or staff pose as well. You can purchase foam yoga blocks instead, however, they’re not as stable as the cork ones so spending a few more bucks on the cork is the way to go, in our opinion.
Also known by some of our clients as the “yoga pillow”. The bolster is a very helpful tool to have especially when practicing yin yoga or more restorative styles of yoga. This tool allows for a more beneficial and comfortable experience while releasing in supported forward folds, restorative backbends, as well as a few other poses that are difficult to relax in. We recommend you purchase the rectangular version if your lower back is tight and the round version if your back is no so tight.
